Each guy meets the other's parents in this story and it's not all smooth sailing. There's lots of drama and emotion and Ann describes everything so realistically. This story is full of emotion, great descriptions, engaging characters, drama and beautiful love. The story is once again written perfectly by Ann. She really knows how to write an engaging story that keeps you turning the page and just leaves you wanting more. Wow! A sequel that was actually equal to book one! FanF'ntastic. This book has it all. The guys have a lot to deal with and they handle it and each other perfectly! Bring on book 3!
Reef and Ford are still building their lives together in book two. Families, friends and jobs are now in the picture, no more vacation time for Reef.
This book is just as steamy and just as sweet as book one.
OMG I am so in love with Reef and Ford!! These two are the epitome of what love is and should always be. Despite their flaws and maybe because of them in this story you see their love grow into something beautiful. This second book has love, passion, chemistry and some hot, hot sex!! Highly recommend this series; Ann is now an automatic one click for me... bring on book 3!!!

This series is so good that you can feel the cold, winter air surrounding you as you read each page. These two are made for each other... Both are strong protectors who have had crappy parents. I shouldn't have been surprised with Fords parents but WOW.....one would have expected them to be Royal with their attitudes. Cold and brittle doesn't even cover it....
So looking forward to the next chapter in these men's lives.
First, I really love Ford & Reef. Their chemistry and connection is so sweet, and so hot! This segment of their was very good, showing both the good and bad that can come into your life. But also showing that love can overcome even the worst obstacles.
In Whiteout I was very pleased with the editing and proofing of the story. In this one, not so much. But it doesn't take away from the story AT ALL!
Can't wait to see what happens next for this couple!
I found the sheer number of flashbacks in this book to be distracting. Since all of them occurred after the first book ended, it would have been much more efficient (and less annoying) if the story had just started earlier and gone through the narrative without the breaks in time.
Even with the distractions, I still liked the story and loved seeing Reef and Ford grow closer and put their relationship as their highest priority.
... And Ford's dad is despicable....
